… as some might already know, I’ve been on the hunt for an ARM-based “netbook” with a modern chip for quite some time.   So it might come as some surprise that I just found out about the new Samsung Chromebook which has given the amazing ARM A-15 based 1.7Ghz Samsung Exynos 5 Dual core processor, the ideal processor I was looking to find in a netbook/laptop form. Not that anyone seems to have these in stock, but at least I’ve found the particular device I want. I’m curious if anyone has gotten their hands on one of these, and (even better) had any success getting Ubuntu for ARM up on it … in case you had any doubt as to what my intentions for this guy would be ^.~
